White House Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Released

Democratic lawmakers have made public a fresh batch of what they labeled "disturbing" photographs from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 released later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is examining the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Images

Included in the prominent personalities seen in the opening set are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Statement

The White House responded to the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the images for political purposes and to "attempt to fabricate a false account."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson remarked, maintaining that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by frequently urging openness, making public reams of papers, and urging further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Comment

The photos were disclosed lacking captions, but per a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's connections to the rich and powerful.

"The moment has come to end this White House concealment and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a statement.

The disclosure of these documents coincides with the House panel proceeding with its investigation into the Epstein case.
